Lock thunderbird when locking computer or switching user #68

I'd really like thunderbird to be running and unlocked while I am using the 
laptop, and automatically lock when I stop i.e. when the laptop locks (enters 
sleep) or when switching user. Is this possible?
Incidentally this is the same behaviour I use in KeePass which works really 
well.

Sounds pretty logical. But please optional, as there are times, when I work 
intermittently and don't want to enter the password each time the computer went 
to sleep mode.
