Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Write a new E-mail in TB
2. use the @ (German Keyboard alt/L)
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
to write the usual "at" sign - instead I get a prompt to enter the master
password for the Software security module
but I don't get to write the "at", I have to copy/paste it.

What Master Password+ version?
1.21.3

On what Firefox/Thunderbird version?
TB 31.3.0

On what operating system?
Mac OS 10.9.4, MacBookPro 8,2 (15" core i7)

Please provide any additional information below.
the issue disappears when I deactivate Master Password+, but I also use:
Keychain Services Integration 1.1.7
Google contacts 0.7.12
Lightning 3.3.1
Provider for Google Calendar 1.0.2
Contact Tabs 2.0.12

I am glad not to have to enter the 8 passwords, but the “@“ issue is a
major hindrance if you want to enter new email adresses.

ALT+L is default hotkey for lock/unlock

To change that Open MP+ options, go to general tab and change login/logout
hotkey from ALT + L to something else.

P.S.
I was unaware that some keyboards use ALT key for typing anything, only new
about using numpad while holding ALT key for entering any charters like ☺
(ALT+1) or @ (ALT+64)
