Selecting default filter category to sort posts by #25

Hi im using your filter & grids plugin for filtering posts on my wordpress project,

Im looking for a way to select a default filter category to filter my posts by default on page load i have tried to add category slugs to [ymc_filter] shortcodes like this [ymc_filter id="{filter_id}" default_category="{category-slug}"]

it keeps filtering by all as default is there a way to come around this with a hook or something i have tried to look through the docs and unfortunatly didnt find a solution

maybe im missing something and hope you can help

Hi! Yes of course, you can set the checkbox for the selected term and then the grid of posts will load according to the pre-selected term. We hope this will help you! See screenshots

I got it to work, and on the settings for the individual term then set it to be default, it worked like a charm.
