full console output error seems to be when it tries to find ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Half-Life/.so, which doesn't exist

same thing occurs with version packaged in AUR

could potentially be due to the fact that launching HL1 using ./hl.sh segfaults for whatever reason
