Hi, I only use afterglow for the nice color schemes. After the update to 2.0.5 or 2.0.6 the icons in the sidebar of the default theme are mostly missing. See screenshot:

After restart Sublime, the problem is fixed?

bobdenotter commented 9 years ago

Hi José,

I tried restarting sublime, and even my computer, but the problem was still there. Even after removing and re-installing the Afterglow package. Anyhow, this morning Afterglow updated to 2.0.7, and it's still there, on another computer even. See new screenshot:

Is there any other information i can provide to help you track this down?

YabataDesign commented 9 years ago

I uploaded an update: version 2.0.8. I hope this release solves the problem.

bobdenotter commented 9 years ago

I updated to v2.0.8, but the problem persists.

YabataDesign commented 9 years ago

I don't understand what can be failing.

Can you do the following checks?

  1. Opening Sublime Text, does console (View -> Show console) shows a message about Theme Afterglow?
  2. If you uninstall Afterglow, other color scheme (default) display correctly sidebar icons?

Sorry for the inconvenience, but if I can't find the error, I think you should use another color scheme.

bobdenotter commented 9 years ago

Hmm, no messages about the theme at all in the console.. Sorry I can't give any more detailed information.

If you uninstall Afterglow, other color scheme (default) display correctly sidebar icons?

Yes.. I made a short screencast that shows what happens: http://recordit.co/UQoaxw47j1

YabataDesign commented 9 years ago

Thank you very much for the screencast.

I will investigate what is happening. Now, I don't know what can cause this.

I feel that you have to use another color scheme. I hope soon find the solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

The "theme" in my user preferences got reset after one of the updates, causing my icons to disappear. I had to set

"theme": "Afterglow.sublime-theme",
"color_scheme": "Packages/Theme - Afterglow/Afterglow.tmTheme"

back in my user preferences and restart my Sublime text and then they came back.
