What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open http://www.google.com/fonts#UsePlace:use/Collection:Roboto in
Chrome/Firefox
2. Open http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/roboto
3. And compare the first with the second (the second is displaying the font
correctly).
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When I have MacType runningi it doesn't differ thin-weight fonts in some cases.
Only some cases, because e.g this font -
http://www.google.com/fonts#UsePlace:use/Collection:Lato - is displaying
correctly
What is funny is that IE9 is displaying the Roboto font correctly.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7 Pro
Chrome Version 30.0.1599.47 beta-m
Firefox 24.0
