Automatic ore gathering is something that is very important and should be available immediately or almost immediately.

Options for early game are as follows : Factori0 drills - they are fine, the textures and animations don't fit the style, or any style for that matter and they are a bit janky feeling even tho they do work. Modular machinery Miner - it will work with the same deposits that IE uses which is cool but it won't look great no matter what we do really... Use factory techs solution

Maybe make some of the miners not work under a set level and the injectors would work only on some levels thus making it a bit more complex to automate
