I can use loot tables to edit the starter chest you spawn next to if you turn that on during world creation.
I was thinking of removing the existing items and make them always spawn with a few starter items:
-Universal omniwrench
-A few assorted Forestry backpacks
-Some random loose gears
-10 to 30 phyto-gro
-Lantern of Paranoia
-Sojourner's Staff
Nothing critical for progression, but still things that would be super nice to have early game. Mostly quality of life stuff.
I've always felt that the default starter loot was simultaniously too useless for people who want a boost and too "OP" for people who don't.
