OID issues when they are very large #9

copying the exact same table to a fresh database install on another server
(ie low OID's) suppresses this behaviour.

load of and table fromt he afflicted server fail
  each attempt faults with 

"Error: Values was eiterh to large to too small for an Int32"

I would need to reproduce the problem: is it possible to get a copy of your 
PostGIS
layer, so I could investigate about your issue?

we may consider to use Int64 for the gid field in next releases....
