Silence warnings #1

Compilation using Rust 1.78 gave warnings about

future incompatibility in svg crate
deprecation of chrono::Date

This PR addresses both of these, by

upgrading svg from 0.10.0 to 0.17.0, and adapting to the new signature of Text::new
replacing Date with NaiveDate
