Drone used for each image

Hi,

I am currently working on a project using your UAVid dataset. Congrats for the nice work!

Two questions regarding the dataset:

• Where can I find which drone was used to record each video? In the paper you mention Phantom 3 pro and Phantom 4 but I did not find the info of which video was recorded with which drone. I need this info to obtain the camera parameters to compute the Ground Sample Distance.
• In the technical specifications of the Phantom 4 (respectively Phantom 3 pro) the camera frames are reported to be5472 x 3648 pixels (respectively 4000 x 3000). On the other hand, images in the UAVid dataset are either 4096 x 2160 or 3840 x 2160. How did you convert the original images recorded with the drones to the final size of the dataset? Resizing? Cropping? ...

Hi,

Thanks for your interest in our dataset. We have used the origin videos recorded in 4k mode from the default cameras on phantom 3 pro and 4 without any cropping or resizing. Sorry that we have not registered which video corresponds to which type of drone. The GSD should vary quite much for different pixels in the slant view.

Sad you don't have the drone/video correspondance but it's OK, I should manage to get a rough estimate by scaling pixel size with the size of cars at a given height in the image.
