You could try resetting the addon to default settings, reinstalling the addon, install the script via greasemonkey vs the addon, etc. Your best option would be to try a fresh install/profile of your browser as that would eliminate configuration issues. As videos play fine without the addon that rules out any kind of network issue which leads credence to the fact it's a misconfiguration/problem in your browser.
Are you using flash player? I had this too occasionally, but a page refresh solved it (well, the starting of the video, not buffering afterwards as I did not experience it). Can you test using HTML5 player and see if this occurs there as well?
I tried resetting the addon and that didn't work, I will try greasemonkey when I have time. I'm using the HTML5 player and it still happens :(
whenever I open up a video, it takes a good minute or so to actually start, then it usually has to buffer more and it takes me twice as long to watch a video than it should, no matter what resolution I play it on. When I watch videos with the extension disabled they run fine.
I have messed with my settings and I couldn't figure out what it could be .
