Space controls the video even when you try to reply to a comment #1649

Pressing space while replying to someone else's comment still pauses/unpauses the video even though it isn't focused, so typing spaces in your reply becomes impossible.

Browser tested on: Palemoon

yeah, this has become a real problem now..

Happens for me in Chrome. For now, I'm either just replying to comments via http://youtube.com/comments or by going to the All Comments page for the specific video. I'm already used to using the former method so it wasn't much of an issue for me.

@SuperSajuuk As per #1546 and the comment I posted in reply to your post on #1540, disable Enable shortcuts on page for the time being until this bug can be fixed.

@Zarggg The behaviour is random. For example, I changed no settings at all and the bug is not happening to me at all. Like I said, changed nothing, didn't upgrade either (don't plan on using the developer version anyway)

If you don't plan on using the developer version, there's not much else I can suggest for you. 2.1.7 is considered obsolete. We are still unsure when 2.1.8 will be released.
