Hello,

Is it possible to have a Lite version of the youtube center? I am just looking for:

I know there are other plugins that do that, but I am not able to find a plugin which have different video sizes like youtube center.

Reason for lite version is so that Youtube loads fast, but when this plugin is enabled Youtube is slow, compared to when not using the plugin.

YTC uses many features that may slow page loading, have you tried to disable them?

I don't think a lite version is really neccessary, YouTubeCenter is specified for high customizability, you can make "your own lite version" by simply choosing the right settings.

Simply disable the features you don't need, it won't be much load on your browser that way. Especially country flag checking, animated video thumbnails and video thumbnail ratings / quality checks. This will lower your loading time dramatically.

What loads fast? The page or the video? If you are saying the page load time unless you have a chronometer you shouldn't be able to notice +-500 ms (0.5 seconds) that the page takes extra to load some features like the stapms on the video or the flags.

If you refer to the Video loading times those are not set on stone and depends on many things so might be jsut coincidence that you had the script enabled and it took more time to lad. The only options that can have an effect on how much it takes to load the video that YTC has besides the quality selector is the dash playback option so unless you changed any of those things then there shouldn't be any difference..
