That is a common bug when the window doesn't realise the player is no longer the focus and simply leaves it drawn on the screen or isn't updating quickly enough. I had that nearly all the time with SPOI Options (when it was free and called YouTube Options) and the developers there didn't bother to fix the bug with it. There's no reason to use SPOI options at all, you can simply petition @YePpHa to add the feature(s) if they are suitable enough for inclusion. :)
Hello,
YTC covers most of the YouTube customizations I desire, but there are a few things for which I rely on other add-ons. I have successfully/happily been using YTC alongside another (similar) browser add-on called "SPOI Options" for many months now. SPOI is a subscription-based add-on but has a free trial: https://spoi.com/options/
(I would love to exclusively use YTC, but SPOI continues to have a few select, specific, desired features/functionality that YTC does not. If anyone's curious, I can list these in another thread. I do make sure to not enable any potentially conflicting settings.)
In any case, with the most recent update to YTC developer version 507, with SPOI enabled, I now get the YouTube video placed directly on top of the page's text.
Downgrading back to YTC v503 and I see the problem goes away. (SPOI has not been changed in the interim. The problem also goes away if I disable SPOI, but I'd really like to continue using them both.)
I'm curious to know what may have changed in v507 to introduce this new conflict, and if it can be fixed.
Thanks!
