Embedded videos sound much louder than the video on youtube. #2217

Both report "Volume: 100%" in stats for nerds Addon: Greasemonkey 3.7 Script: Dev Build #538 Browser: Firefox 45.0.1

The difference is about 82 dB to 87 dB embedded. (Measured from same distance with same device)

If I disable the tick "Enable Embeds" it is fixed and the YouTube videos sound the same both embedded and on the website.

My config: http://pastebin.com/v90RJeHh

EDIT: It seems to be specific to certain videos and maybe to the use of the vp9 codec. I first thought it was a reddit expando thing, but it's not. I made and empty html file with just the embed inside the body and it still did it.

"not so minimal example"

I started with the (newish, maybe upload date is a factor) jpop song in my reddit feed, then went on to look for pink noise (didn't work), tried other vp9 video (nothing) and well vevo won't play with the script enabled.

I have the same problem!! On YouTube page video plays 3-5 dB lower. On any embedded site video/audio sounds as it should be. Audio is not too loud so it's not lowered by YouTube in original upload(?!) Can't find the answer so far... Any help/advice?
