Did you try something like this? http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23091526/apps-extensions-and-scripts-cannot-be-added-from-this-website
Thanks. That seems to have done the trick. Although it seems I'll be forever plagued with a warning popup everytime I start Chrome. More than likely I'll just bag Chrome all together and just use one of the Fox's exclusively.
I think most of us on chrome has switched to using the userscript version through tampermonkey by now.
@LazyBoot Unfortunately, as I said before, Chrome and/or Tampermonkey won't let me install the userscript. I'm trying Vivaldi (a Chromium based browser) out and unfortunately I can't install the userscript in it as well which makes me think it's a Tampermonkey issue. I've tried both Tampermonkey stable and Tampermonkey Beta with no luck.
@thekcool I did what was in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h--7NnGUJB4 at first it didn't work because I needed 7 zip which I downloaded from here http://www.ghacks.net/2014/05/28/unsupported-extensions-disabled-re-enable-blocked-extensions-chrome/
Chrome is blocking both the script and the extension. On either option, Chrome throws up a warning "Apps, extensions, and user scripts cannot be added from this website." I've tried loading the script with both Tampermonkey & Tampermonkey Beta. Dragging and dropping the script file and extension file does not work either.
