@Well, you need to enable DASH playback to get other resolutions, and there's not much We can do about this.
Look here: https://github.com/YePpHa/YouTubeCenter/wiki/FAQ#why-isnt-some-qualities-appearing and here: https://github.com/YePpHa/YouTubeCenter/wiki/Features#dash-playback
YouTube Center Developer Build 548
DASH playback: enabled Player: default
DASH playback: disabled Player: HTML5
Looks like we'll have to use another script for now
@ireun There seems to be a misunderstanding here. DASH playback is enabled, yet I still get 720p/360p at various videos. This only started happening a few weeks ago.
This issue has been around for a very long time. At least a year if I remember correctly. It has been reported multiple times
I am having this problem too, first i thought it was a feature but obviously not
Just leaving a message to confirm this behavior. It started a few weeks ago and applies to almost every single video I watch, with YouTube Center enabled (on Chrome 58.x with Tampermonkey). Can only access 720p and 360p resolution for playback, which on a 4K monitor does not look great.
As soon as I disable YTC I can access all resolutions, but then I have to deal with a tiny video window (even after clicking the Theater Mode button on the YouTube player) or doing full screen which is not great for multi tasking.
For a while now (without consciously changing any options), I've only been able to select 720p at maximum 30 FPS and 360p for video playback. This is also shown in the thumbnail, where it says the maximum video quality is 720p when it might actually extend all the way to 4k.
This only happens with YouTube Center enabled. DASH playback is enabled.
However, it only happens to SOME videos. When I disable DASH playback I consistently get 720p/360p, but with it enabled only a handful of videos are affected by it. When I disable YTC entirely I get all the options back.
