Video Thumbnails: Replace video page linked by the thumbnail with direct links to choosen quality #272

This is slightly different on the to-do list where a download button is shown on part of the thumbnail - but when it is implemented, is it possible to have an extra option to just replace the thumbnail link completely with the download link instead?

I have severe streaming issues with my bad connection and watch youtube exclusively through downloading them overnight through a download manager, a giant thumbnail as download link would work better compared to a dropdown menu or a mouseover delayed button for me personally.

@YePpHa I would like to know if its possible/planned/dont intend to implement ;)

It would be possible, but only for 720p or lower.

@YePpHa That will be more than enough - unless you prefer not to have half-working functions in the extension, it will be greatly appreciated to have the option.
