Ads not showing in YouTube even with unchecked option "Remove advertisement" and disabled AdBlock/AdBlock Plus in HTML5 player. #482

I'm using newest Chrome on Windows XP. I have AdBlock, but I disabled it on all YouTube pages. The ads are not showing on videos and other pages on YouTube when I set player type to HTML5 even I disable/unistall AdBlock or install AdBlock Plus but disable it on all YouTube pages. Hovewer, when I change player type to Flash, everything is ok. The ads are showing on all YouTube pages with disabled AdBlock/AdBlock Plus on all YouTube pages.

Can anyone confirm that?

Before, ads couldn't be seen in html5. I don't know how it is now though...

The ads still not showing in HTML5 player. Please, please, please. Fix this, @YePpHa :)

@q1k, I don't like ads so much, but I like to help improve channels on YouTube and I want to use HTML5 player, not this stupid Flash player, but I can't because of this situation.

This is very weird, because I looked in the code and the ads would only be removed if the Remove advertisement option was enabled. I will try to look more into this.

I'm afraid not. I'm reworking YouTube Center so I think I will try to take a look at it while I'm revision the advertisement code.
