Prevent auto-play is preventing auto-buffer even when settings are correct #739

With the new update (dev build 359), having 'prevent auto play' enabled and 'prevent auto buffering' disabled, when opening a video it begins to play and then stops, showing the static video (like an embedded video before you click on it) and it doesn't buffer.

This is happening for me, but only with Flash player. With the HTML5 player, neither "prevent auto play" nor "prevent auto buffer" do anything, the video will always auto play.

This must be something Youtube did because earlier today these settings were working correctly and I hadn't changed my build since then. In fact I just updated to 359 hoping that would fix it.

I will take a look at it.

Same here with Stable Firefox 31 and dev script build 359 + Greasemonkey.Prevent auto play also prevents buffering and the player shows the Play icon in middle.

Same here for me as well. (Firefox 31 - Mac OS X 10.9.4)

EDIT: I think it works fine now on dev build 361. Thanks!!!

Just tested this with Chromium 38 and YouTube Center Dev 361, and with Prevent Auto Play on, it succesfully prevented Auto Play and looks like it was buffering also (it loaded the video).

I don't know whether it's relevant with this bug but sometimes when I tried to play a video, it has the 'Play All' icon in the video and it won't auto buffer unless I click 'Play All' first. The video is a part of a playlist (I think since the new Youtube change all videos are categorized into playlists) but it isn't like this normally. I'm using FF 30.0, GM 1.15, Youtube Dev Build 3.62
