YouTube Center/ YePpHa Center removed from the Chrome App store? #826

Hey, has the Addon been removed from the Chrome App Store?

Seems like it. I got an email from Google stating that it somehow went against their policy.

Dear Developer,

Your Google Chrome item, "YePpHa Center for YouTube," with ID: iggnaiafdfnjpjanhfndcafhdiampgpb did not comply with our policies and was removed from the Google Chrome Web Store.

Your item did not comply with the following section of our policy:

We don't allow products or services that facilitate unauthorized access to content on websites, such as circumventing paywalls or login restrictions. We also don't allow products or services that encourage, facilitate, or enable the unauthorized access, download, or streaming of copyrighted content or media.

If you'd like to re-submit your item, please make the appropriate changes to the item so that it complies with our policies, then re-publish it in your developer dashboard. Please reply to this email for issues regarding this item removal.

*Please keep in mind that your re-submitted item will not be immediately published live in the store. All re-submitted items undergo a strict compliance review and will be re-published if the item passes review.

Damn, Any chance, you'll change the addon, so it doesn't get deleted again?

I have no idea what caused it to be removed. I already removed the download feature and changed the name of the extension. I will try to look more into this soon.

What another extension did was create a simplified version of it for the chrome web store with many features neutered.

Then you'd have to go to the extension's website to install the full version. I think the extension that did this is called Youtube Options.

The only thing YouTube Options removed from the web store version was the ability to download videos, which YouTube Center already did.

I will probably try to make a version of YouTube Center where I remove every mention of download and I will then try to re-submit the addon, but I just haven't gotten to it yet. I will probably try it soon.
