This isn't an issue exclusive to blendshapes. It is lists in general that have this limitation.
As an example- here is a user from the OnlyUsers list on the Grabbable component.
except that other lists like the "OnlyUsers" don't have names. they are simply User0 User1 etc. (look at the 0:
label) while blendshapes have exact and specific names that you can see in the inspector

When referencing a blendshape in protoflux, it can be a bit confusing because it shows an index value instead of the name of the blendshape

I would like for protoflux nodes that reference a blendshape to also show the name of the blendshape in some way
Describe alternatives you've considered
very slowly and carefully referencing the blendshapes and indexes to cross reference when dealing with large numbers of blendshapes in protoflux

this is very prevalent when dealing with large sets of custom face tracking code
