The idea is that group can define a badge and if you're part of that group, you can display that badge.
It'll probably have to wait until we rework the badge system a bit though (which is partially done).

Currently, if you want to showcase a developer group you are in or invited to from the $20 "Trailblazer" tier, everyone in that group would need to upgrade to the $10 tier on Patreon to get themselves a custom 2D/3D badge to showcase they are in a group for the illusion of a group badge when it's just a bunch of individual custom badges that can't be changed retroactively in the group.
I believe this is a problem because if we can already individually make badges for ourselves, why not have badges for the team members in the group as extra flair and valor for being part of a team?
Describe the solution you'd like
When creating or being invited to a group, you should have the option to display your badge natively just as any other native badge would (ex. MMC, VLBLFC, etc.)
Describe alternatives you've considered
The alternative is to have a custom badge template that injects into your avatar as you load to have custom badges. This has been how things have been for a while, but it's not a solution more so as its customization for avatars. I'd much rather be able to use the native, first-party badge system to showcase on my account that I am part of a group/team so that it at least shows up in the sessions tab, and doesn't need to be applied to every single avatar I make from now til the future.
