Resonite crashes frequently #2913

Describe the bug?

This is a proxy post.

My friend has been having frequent crashes with Resonite since a recent update. He doesn't remember which update it was, but he says it started happening more and more after August. This phenomenon occurs in both VR and Desktop.

A friend of mine said the symptoms of this problem are most similar to the following issue: https://github.com/Yellow-Dog-Man/Resonite-Issues/issues/2838

To Reproduce

  1. Joining a world
  2. Waiting a certain amount of time
  3. Crashing

This seems to happen especially when loading assets.

Expected behavior

Resonite does not crash

Windows

What headset if any do you use?

If possible could you also have them provide the Player.log / error.log if available for those crashes, @Fukuro99?

There are other mostly unidentified crashes that have appeared of late in the form of #2845 and #2890 as well.

My partner Psy_ex has been having similar crashing for the past few weeks. (coincidently after the locomotion update though likely unrelated) here is their recent log Player.log

During a session earlier today they crashed three times before giving up for the day. Load in, pop into the session, 3-5 minutes later crashes out to steam. Unsure why this is happening.

@Feyyore - Would you also be able to provide the error.log for that crash as well as the normal Resonite log from the logs folder where Resonite is installed?

Per the bottom of the Player.log it notes:

A crash has been intercepted by the crash handler. For call stack and other details, see the latest crash report generated in:
 * C:/Users/Psy/AppData/Local/Temp/Yellow Dog Man Studios/Resonite/Crashes

So you should be able to find the error.log there.

My friend seems to have been freed from this problem. According to her, she had a duplicated router, and once she fixed that, the problem was solved. I'm not sure if this is the direct cause of this issue, but I'll leave it here in case it helps someone.
