Resonite won't start SteamVR when launched in SteamVR mode if using Oculus #2990

Describe the bug?

When SteamVR is closed when launching Resonite in SteamVR mode but you're using both WMR and Oculus (Rift CV1), even if you choose "Launch Resonite in SteamVR mode", Resonite won't launch in SteamVR mode.

It's always been an issue (at least for months) but it's just a small inconvenience because the workaround is starting SteamVR manually.

To Reproduce

  1. Have both a Windows Mixed Reality headset (with WMR software launched) and an Oculus headset using Oculus_Touch_Steam_Link (for tracking using OpenVR SpaceCalibrator)
  2. Don't have SteamVR open
  3. Select "Launch Resonite in SteamVR mode" when launching Resonite

Expected behavior

Resonite launches SteamVR in SteamVR mode (duh)

Does this issue only occur if you have both headsets connected to your PC at the same time? Does the issue not occur if you use either headset in isolation?

This feels like a kinda bizarre / niche setup- is there any particular reason you have both headsets connected at the same time?

It only happens if both are connected at the same time. An insignificant issue, but an issue nonetheless.

Yes, it's a niche setup. I use the CV1 for full-body tracking in what's called MixedVR, using Oculus_Touch_Steam_Link.
