When I paste a steam community live stream link it just paces the link instead of the stream in a video player

I wanna be able to import steam community live streams as a video stream

Describe alternatives you've considered

Using a proxy like an RTMP server but this is not Preferable

This might be tricky to handle, I'm not sure how well these streams are suitable for streaming in other applications outside of the Steam website.
