When an extremely long external link is requested, a random series of dots will appear in the external link permission window.
This doesn't serve as a warning

Maybe a text viewer should appear like when pasting text from Clipboard?
I think this requires something that displays the text without shrinking it.
Describe alternatives you've considered
The ability to display just the domain or hostname in the current window layout and optionally see the entire URL may be an alternative.
Additional Context
Anyway, I'm new to this app, so I don't know if there's already a suitable UI.
In any case, the ability to check the entire URL is required so that users can give permission with confidence.
