Importing files through dragging and dropping files does not work. Pasting in files only works in desktop mode

Describe the bug?

I am unable drag and drop any files into Res. If I'm in desktop mode I am able to copy and paste files into Res, but otherwise I have to go through the in game file browser.

To Reproduce

Just trying to drag and drop files or copy then paste reproduces the bug for me.

Expected behavior

I expect the import dialog to appear.

Ensure you are not running Resonite as an administrator, or are not running Steam as an administrator which in turn runs Resonite as an administrator.

I am not, else I'd be able to interact with elevated processes like task Manager while in res or the stream VR desktop overlay

Also, why would running under admin prevent copy/pasting local files while in vr but not desktop?

Where are you dragging and dropping from? E.g. the desktop view tab in the dashboard, or an external desktop view, e.g. Steam's overlay?

It occurs in all worlds, I've tried both steam overlay as well as physically using my mouse. This also includes copying a file and doing ctrl v into res when the window is the focused app.

Okay- and what file types are you having this issue with? Is it specific formats, or just any file types?

I'm not really certain what this would be as I haven't had any issues in dragging in files when I've tried it recently- so it seems like it might be an issue local to your system in some way rather than for Resonite as a whole.

As for your earlier question- I was asking because depending on how you're launching Resonite, e.g. from Steam or from a shortcut you might have different task elevation, e.g. if Steam is set to run as admin it makes all games it opens also run as admin- likewise, if you had a shortcut for desktop use that skipped launching it with Steam- it might not be elevated if you hadn't specified the application itself to always run as an admin.

Running Resonite as an admin is the only thing I know of that can cause the observed behaviour you are reporting- well- that and the lack of a clipboard manager component in the world- but if it's an issue in all worlds- that suggests an external issue.

I do see 7:27:50 PM.165 (418 FPS) Importing files with Asset Class Texture: E:\MyCommissions\Dizzy\Non_Canon_Foolish_Bust.png in both of their logs, Resonite sees the import action and I see nothing relevant after such. I'm a bit lost on how something could try to import but not throw a error if it did not in fact import.

I've only tried with images. I'll try with text sometime later this week.

I've tested with text. Regular text does not display anything, but doing a url does generate the clickable url in world.

That is... bizarre. My expectation would be either it works entirely or it doesn't work at all.
