Open ScarsTRF opened 1 year ago

ScarsTRF commented 1 year ago

Describe the bug?

When requesting to delete a cloud var from a group, the bot will return Error! Is the path correct? when using /deleteGroupVar no matter the syntax provided.

Example syntax for the command used are:

To Reproduce

  1. Create a Group Cloud Var on a group.
  2. Try and delete the group var using the defined commands with the Resonite bot.
  3. Your result will show instantly when sending the command.

Expected behavior

The command should return Deletion scheduled! like a user var deletion would.

I was successfully able to replicate this issue.

shiftyscales commented 1 year ago

Does the same issue occur with user variables as well, @ScarsTRF? Or is it only group variables?

shiftyscales commented 1 year ago

Also- even if you believe the issue is elsewhere- please include a replication log file for all issues submitted.

ScarsTRF commented 1 year ago

@shiftyscales It's only Group vars, and I'm the owner of my group.

here's the log: SCARS-DESKTOP - 2023.11.7.274 - 2023-11-07 16_14_35.log

Just commenting on this myself and I have also noticed this doesn't work, after trying earlier to delete cloud variables from my own group

I've encountered the same thing

ScarsTRF commented 10 months ago

Wiki is now up and states that the command exists, but no mention of it actually working.

Still occurring on 2024.7.11.1293 I know there's nothing saying this was fixed but just ran into it again.

@BlueCyro @RyuviTheViali @ProbablePrime anyone interested in looking into this one instead of me?

shiftyscales commented 1 month ago

@BlueCyro has volunteered to take a look at it when they aren't currently busy finishing some other issues / projects they are looking at right now, so I've assigned them for now.
