[Feature request] Prometheus metrics support #55

Hi there,

first things first... we are very happy to use this product, thanks for developing it!

I was wondering if you will accept a PR implementing an optional metrics generated and pushed into Prometheus Pushgateway https://github.com/prometheus/client_python#exporting-to-a-pushgateway

I'm a metrics fanboy, to be honest, I think everything is better with metrics even my oven :sweat_smile:
