Consider a design like this, which is similar to the Samsung calculator which I think has the best design among all Android calculators. This way you will also have a button for the history, a button for the converter and a button to switch to scientific mode without having to rotate the phone.

@gigisforza70 Yea, adding a dropdown button or so would really help in portrait mode for accessing scientific features. I was going to add a history button initially as well but thought it would take up space. I will work on it later and thanks for the suggestion :). Hope yetCalc helps you with your calculations.

Thanks for your consideration.

You don't have to worry about space, that needs to be optimized anyway, even in the current version there is a lot of space between the navigation bar and the bottom calculator buttons, that space should be reduced.

The top line where there is √ Π ( ) should be replaced by keys : “chronology” ; "converter"; "programmer" ; “scientific key”.

The scientific key could be used instead of the "delete".

the history key I think is essential, the current solution to access the history is very inconvenient. Even the "converter" and "programmer" buttons moved down near the "history" button would give a better look than the current solution.

For the scientific keys there are two solutions either as in the photo in "xiaomi", "oneplus" style, or in "google" style where the numbers are lowered to make room for scientific notation
