Timer switches to 45 min intervals after break #83

Closed HeatherESmith closed 2 years ago

HeatherESmith commented 2 years ago

When I start the timer, the first set is 25 min, the break is 5 min, and after the first break it switches to a 45 min interval and stays that way. I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but I can't find anywhere to change this in settings. My settings are at the default 25/5. If I stop the timer and restart it, it goes back to 25 for one interval, and then 45 thereafter following the break.

Hey, thank you for reaching out. This is the first time I'm hearing about an issue like this. Can you provide more information:

  1. Application version can be found in settings, bottom left.
  2. My Documents\YAPA2 folder should have settings.json, can you attach that file to the issue ?
HeatherESmith commented 2 years ago

Sorry I completely forgot to check this. Version 2.0.142 I tried attaching the settings.json file to the comment but there is an error: "We don't support that file type."

You can try to ZIP this file. Does this issue still happens or was it one time issue ?

gferreroferri commented 2 years ago

settings.json.zip I have the same issue with the latest version I downloaded today. Second period is 45 min countdown 🤔 And also, it does not show anymore the prepress on the taskbar icon. And I cannot hear any sound after the work or rest period. My json file attached

@gferreroferri does this happen all the time? when you start the application, complete the first period, next period is always 45 min? I', jus thinking what would be the steps to reproduce this 🤔

gferreroferri commented 2 years ago

Yes, that is the way it goes in my pc

I literally have no idea what is going on and how to reproduce this issue. Do you know how to find an installation directory? (right click on exe file -> properties -> open location) maybe you could create zip from all files that you have and attach it ?

gferreroferri commented 2 years ago

Ok. I will try tomorrow

Hi! I have this bug too, it started when I checked "Auto start work". I don't know if this is the case with other peoples here; maybe that can give you a clue about what's going on. I'm on version 2.0.167. settings.zip

floatas commented 2 years ago

@NightenDushi looks like you are right, this happens when "Auto start work" is enabled. I will try to debug it,

tasukete112 commented 2 years ago

Same problem happened. I tried older versions, but they didn't solve it.

Released new application version with a fix for this issue. Let me know if it happens again.
