[bug] Lost logo image #10164

⁉️ Describe the bug

Every 2-3 days the image of the logo is lost, making it impossible to issue documents (Error:imagesx() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given). What happens;

@nkzach I have the exact same issue you're experiencing inside the Chat module. As far as the Logo goes, I have the one on the login page that displays correctly, but the Logo inside of the system once you login is a broken image that gives the appearance that the file itself is missing. I feel your pain, wish I could help but thought this could be relevant and if suggestions pop up it could potentially fix your error and mine as well.

My problem with Lost Logo is solved. Go on Software configuration --->Permissions ---->Roles System and put your Logo on Account field.

Today early morning, i re-upload the logos for two departments, and the pdf documents work well. Here is a screen shot from folder "storage/Multiimage/Multicompany/logo/2019/April/week3" Ξ£Ο„ΞΉΞ³ΞΌΞΉΟŒΟ„Ο…Ο€ΞΏ 2019-04-15, 11 48 02 πμ where as you can see there are two images(one for each department). I suppose that after 2-3 days the system will just delete the content of this folder , without to be moved to another (as happened in the past for folders "week1" and "week2")

My problem with Lost Logo is solved. Go on Software configuration --->Permissions ---->Roles System and put your Logo on Account field.

@kessicyrille I followed your exact steps and go figure, it did not wok for me. I'm glad you resolved your issue though, congrats. Back to the drawing board for me :(

@nkzach Wow, that's absolutely crazy. Why would any system wipe out images like that? What's next our precious data? And nobody is addressing this at all? I realize it's an open source system and the best I ever seen at that but stuff like this is quite concerning.

@kessicyrille Actually scratch my last response. It did indeed work just as you described. The issue was my browser cache. I opened my CRM in an incognito window and boom my Logo is now visible. Yay, problem fixed. Thanks @kessicyrille would have never figured it out without your response.

I can't even upload logo in this section. Getting "error during upload" message. :(

uploading image to roles worked for me!
