[Question] Installation Trouble #11698

Description

I am experiencing issues installing YetiForce on my localhost server for testing.

After inserting my database credentials etc., I see a blank screen (apart from yetiforce branding) and nothing happens within my database. My server meets the requirements specified by the installer.

I am confused as to why this is.

Installation not completing after submitting details.

🔥 How to trigger the error

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create new installation
  2. Fill in details on installation window
  3. Submit details form
  4. See blank screen with no installation data (tables are not being created)

👎 Actual Behavior

Installation completes successfully.

Unable to test installation wizard on either platform.

I do not believe I can retrieve the logs on my local devserver isntance. I am using EasyPHP Devserver.

@redstonedesigner logs you can find in /cache/logs/ folder of yeti. I think your EasyPHP main problem. You need fulfunctional web server like LAMP with flexibility. As for my experience web server based on Windows - nightmare...

you have some configuration problem you just need to find the reason enable logs for:

I cannot seem to find out how to enable those logs on Apache. The link tells me to enable them, but when I click on "Server configuration" to see how to enable them, the page errors.
