MailScanner not working and not downloading emails automatically #17565

Hi there,

(Sorry, I'm not a developer. I'm also new in Yeti)

I have configured my email. However, it's not binding by itself. I can see my email from the virtual desk-> my mail box. I can send and see all the emails received. It looks like it's not in the database.

When I click on "Import mail manually" everything else works. I'm not sure what is wrong. image

at Mail Scanner I can't config the folder.

Mail download history. I guess I should see some emails under email checked?

Also, if I go to database->email history. I can only see the email that I downloaded/imported manually.

Can anyone help me pleaseeee? haha. I've already spent loads of time trying to figure this out.

There is no error here, you simply need to indicate the folders and actions you want the mail scanner to perform. image

Hi there, thank you for your reply. However, I can't set up the folder. It shows that there's a problem to access my account. image

I do have these options selected when I click on the pencil, but I can select folders when I click on the folder icon.

Could you please reopen this issue? It's not solved. I've been trying for days now to sort this out and I can't find any solutions.

You have a specific case, since folder preview doesn't work for you. Do you have the same for every configured mailbox?

It's all the same for the other mailboxes. When I click on the folder it comes up same error.

IMAP setting seems correct, since I can send emails and receive emails. The issue is that the email only bind/link with the contact or account once I download it manually. image

If you can, create a new mailbox with basic folders. Configure it in YetiForce and see if you have access to the folders. .. maybe the folder nesting you create is messing something up here.

Ok, I deactivated all the other Mail Scanner. I have created a new SMPT with basic settings: image

Please don't give up on me hahaha

I meant a new mailbox e.g. test@neonetworks.com.au, not a new server configuration in YF :)

ooh, sorry ahah Gotch yah.

I tested with another two mailbox image

Both are getting same error. :( image

Then there's nothing left for you to do except debugging (https://doc.yetiforce.com/developer-guides/debug/)

In order to enable log files recording, you need to set the LOG_TO_FILE value to true in config/Debug.php; then set the appropriate level of recording changes LOG_LEVELS.

set $LOG_LEVELS = ['error', 'warning'];

Re-open the folder list modal once again and look at the log files
