Please complete the following lines...

Application Version: V5
SVN Revision Number:
Compile Date:12.05.2009
Operating System:Windows vista SP2

Describe details of the issue below:

I have been trying to replicate haptane pool fire simulation from one of
the journal paper.I faced a typical issue.

1.) The program is runing but it is giving the radiative flux as zero at
the end.
2.)also mass burning rate plot depicts that fuel is getting consumed
within 20 sec approx.

but journal paper says over the duration of fire niether fuel is getting
consumed totally nor radiative flux is zero.

For your reference I am attaching the .fds file here with. I request you
to look into it and help me out.

Regards..
Saumil

How are you heating up the liquid pool? It may not burn spontaneously.

Dear sir
Thankyou for the reply.

apart from this i have some doubt regarding your paper
http://www.fire.nist.gov/bfrlpubs/fire03/PDF/f03041.pdf .

1)here radiative flux measuring device are placed out of the numerical domain.
then how experimental and simulated results are expected to match.

2)i am facing some problem in generating circular bronze burner. I will be
highly
obliged if you can send me .fds file

looking forward for your support.

Regards..

The pool fire calculations were done with an older version of FDS and the files
have
not been redone in FDS 5. However, the methane burner input files are in the
repository folder called Validation under the name Hamins_CH4.
