Failed to generate a key pair (400) #3418

Hello Everyone,

I was trying to active ACM mode on my remote computer but I'm getting an error saying "Failed to generate a key pair (400)"

If anyone can help out that would be appreciated. Thanks a lot

Below is from my remote computer when I tried to activate ACM from meshcmd:

Setting up MEI... Starting Intel AMT configuration... Started APF tunnel... Checking Intel AMT state... Intel AMT connected. Failed to generate a key pair (400).

What version of Intel AMT?

I get the exact same error trying to set up a computer with AMT v9.1.45. My MeshCentral server is hosted in an Oracle VPS with a Let's Encrypt cert in place.

Same error on computer with amt v15.0.10. MeshCentral hosted on-premise (Ubuntu 20.04) and MPS is using meshcentral pre-made cert, website using paid wildcard.

I had this error. I disabled AMT in MEPx (Ctrl -P) at startup, and then enabled again (after a reboot). This gave me a factory reset and it provisioned after this. I only used full unprovision before, but that was not enough to fix this error state.
