Feature: Intel ME for Clients and IPMI for Servers. #3474

Could it be an idea to have IPMI-Control in MeshCentral? Maybe where you add some Servers-Agents to MC make it possible to add IPMI IP-Address and User/Pass to offer some basic Controls over the IPMI/KVM-Interface like Power on/off reset current power state etc...

This would be a very nice option. I have a number of SuperMicro based servers that use IPMI instead of IntelAMT. Most of the newer systems can work with HTML5/iKVM. It would be great to be able to access this right from MeshCentral.

Ha. I happen to have a SuperMicro with IPMI, so this is certainly possible. I am just flooded with requests. I am see this taking about a week to code, not sure went I can schedule that.

Had this question come up today. Looking at some new systems and they use IPMI. Is this feature still on the drawing board? Thanks

how would you access the ipmi? as the feature would only work if the machines are on the same network as the meshcentral (so LAN only mode?)

As on other areas in MeshCentral. Every Agent can be a relay?
