Duplicate a computer #4041

Because my routers are acting like a reverse proxy with my whitelist enabled when I add computers using the software agent only the agent will connect and not AMT but if I add a AMT only group and add that machine I can then connect to AMT is it possible for me to export a group of computers from the software agent group to then import a new group as AMT only? Trying to pretty much re add all of my computers so that I have 2 of each computer one under Software Agent the other under a AMT only group so that I can connect to Agent and AMT without having to manually add each entry.

Hi. So, maybe I am not understanding the setup, but the normal device group that uses the MeshAgent is really a device group that works with both Intel AMT and the Agent. There is no "Agent Only" device group. So, if you setup a computer using an agent and the agent is offline, the Intel AMT options and control should still be present. basically, you should never have to setup a computer in both the Agent and AMT-only device group. If it has an agent, just have it in the default with-agent group.

Now, maybe there is something not working right that makes Intel AMT not work. Let me know about that and also, if youa re using CIRA or local connections only and if your server is in LAN, WAN or Hybrid mode.

Ylian,

What is happening is that I have a whitelist setup on my routers and in that section there is a filter https box that needs to be checked. If I uncheck that box then Agent + AMT connect with no problems but it then allows any https site to be access from our computers out in the field which is not ok. With the box checked it's pretty much acting like a reverse proxy and populating the router IP instead of the computer IP once I uncheck it you see the IP switch to the computer IP immediately and AMT connects. So what I'm wanting to do is leave the Agent + AMT group but add a 2nd group with just AMT because those IPs will not change. So Instead of manually entering those computers was hoping there was a way I can do an import or export of those computers in the AMT+ Agent group to just a AMT group to save me time instead of manually entering everything twice.

Thanks,
