Mesh import of SMD file only appears as a point cloud #27

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. delete default cube object  
2. file - import SMD.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected full mesh with bones and animations.  Any mesh that should be seen 
only shows a point cloud, or just the vertexes without any connecting edges or 
faces.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Just downloaded the latest build of blender-smd for first time tonight.  
Noticed issue only occuring in test build of Blender (v 2.62 r44137) which is 
including the new Bmesh features that will be in the trunk release due in April.

Please provide any additional information below.

I started posting this before realizing that the version I was in was a test 
branch of Blender, then went into the core release and the script works 
perfectly.  I figured I'd continue to submit the issue as they will be 
including Bmesh in the trunk very soon and could impact the script in that 
future release.

This is indeed down to BMesh changes. You can get the latest SVN build of the 
Tools to fix exporting in SVN Blender builds, but Blender bugs mean that 
importing anything leads to a crash.
