Game Maker Studio 2 Crashed #5814

Description

Game Maker Studio 2 Crashed on me when I left the room and came back.

Steps To Reproduce

Leave the program open and don't interact with it for an extended period of time.

Hi - your log shows you're still using 2023.11 and it's that old version which has crashed, not the current 2024.4, so this isn't something we would look into now. Please update your GameMaker install, as there is a strong chance this has been fixed in the two major releases since the one you're using.

I can see also from the log file that you're using the "GameMaker Studio 2 Desktop" product on Steam, which explains why you have not updated. The release notes on Steam for that product have said for a good while that you should uninstall it and move to the newer "GameMaker" product on Steam instead because those 3 older Desktop/Mobile/Web ones wouldn't be updated after 2023.11.

Check out that you're using the correct product/app on Steam and then please update to 2024.4. If you do still have this issue, then please do send a new report and we will of course look into that one further.
