Code Editor: Middle-clicking on a blank line opens the manual each time #8441

Description

If you middle click or press F1, it will now always open the manual, even if you press it on a blank line or a piece of text with no manual page.

Steps To Reproduce

Middle click or press F1 on a completely blank code line. The manual will open to the main page.

Which version of GameMaker are you reporting this issue for?

IDE v2024.1100.0.686 Runtime v2024.1100.0.707

Which operating system(s) are you seeing the problem on?

Windows 10.0.22631.0

Confirmed that CE1 also does the middle-click opens the manual on a blank line. Note that it needs to be a numbered line - not the empty space below the last numbered line.

F1 on a blank line is correct - the F1 key is set to open the manual, pretty much regardless of where focus is when you press that key. You can be in the workspace, the image editor, etc., and it will open the manual.
