All sorts of problems trying to load it up #5

I simply opened up the .gmx file - into Gamemaker, then hit Run - It started to load then threw a sprite error

Then it started an infinite pop-up like - error windows - loop thing...managed to ALT+F4 them faster than they were popping up...and only just managed to kill it with with CTRL+C...unfortunately I didn't see the errors afterwards as it caused a crash and shut down Gamemaker. Almost broke a sweat trying to key-bash that fast

Is this for an older or upgraded version of Gamemaker??

Sadly I am only using 1.4.1763 Standard Edition - Shame coz I would love to have a toy around with this

Ok so - I have used the latest release and am not having any problems besides the initial sprite error. Sounds like you downloaded it from the master branch.

You will want to pick up Your world from there.

I am using the latest Stable version of GM:S 1.4 as of October 31st, 2016.

Now downloads and runs on latest Early Access build at least.

Hey @mikedailly,

I managed to download the source and get it up and running. I've downloaded a city PNG from the main website and got it through the tilemaker, which created the .city file for me. Upon loading the city all seems to work, until it hangs on "Creating new mission chain".

I suppose this is because I dont have the latest version of everything - the downloads on the site itself seem to be broken. The URL's all return a 403.

Is it possible to include some information into this project?
