Add config option to disable rich snippets / opengraph #78

Open peterjaap opened 6 years ago

peterjaap commented 6 years ago

Right now, there's no easy way to disable rich snippets / opengraph aside from copying the yoastseo.phtml and schema.phtml into your theme and removing all code in those files. This should be a configuration option in the backend.

Which version do you use @peterjaap ? Agree that it needs to be a config option.

peterjaap commented 6 years ago

1.1.2 at this point.

rmeeuwissen commented 6 years ago

@vincenthornikx has this been fixed in 2.0.0?

peterjaap commented 6 years ago

Nope,

https://github.com/Yoast/Yoast-SEO-for-Magento2/blob/1.1.2/etc/adminhtml/system.xml vs https://github.com/Yoast/Yoast-SEO-for-Magento2/blob/2.0.0/etc/adminhtml/system.xml

Same configuration options.

No this has not changed in version 2.0.0. I will add it to the backlog. @peterjaap Just for the sake of promoting the new version, have you tried version 2.0.0 yet? Any feedback is welcome.
