I'd expect to get useful feedback when there is an improvement shown in the analysis:

The feedback doesn't really apply to my text as all my sentences are already fairly short. I'm thinking the Flesch Reading Ease test is low because there are too many difficult or unknown words being used. The feedback to use less difficult words only occurs when the test scores below 50:
