Please give us a description of what happened
I did the command REWRITE AND REPUBLISH on all pages of my website. A few days later I noticed a number at the end of the page name. For example, this page is supposed to be this url:
https://clearcutpestcontrol.com/cockroaches
Instead, THIS is what has been created:
Note the number 4 at the end of the url.
To Reproduce
Step-by-step reproduction instructions
Clicked rewrite and republish
Changed the date of the publish to the current date.
Republish
Expected results
The date of the republish to change but the URL to remain the same.
Actual results
A new URL and Slug with a number at the end (for a version) is created. This is what google will be getting.
