Please give us a description of what happened.

When inserting a custom taxonomy as a variable to the preview snippet, the snippet does not get it's value but only show's it's slug.

it does work on the front-end.

Please describe what you expected to happen and why.

When inserting the snippet, I would like to see it's value instead of the custom taxonomy slug.

How can we reproduce this behavior?

Create a custom taxonomy
Fill this with multiple values
Use the custom taxonomy on a post or CPT
Value should not be there
