Thanks for the detailed report @sneakerwebjoseph. Sorry to hear that you have a conflict.
There aren't any past reports about the conflict between Yoast SEO and WooCommerce Brands plugins, nor we can test it on our end since WooCommerce Brands is a premium plugin that we don't have access to. So, we are leaving the report active and will get back to it once it gets more attraction.
Please give us a description of what happened.
With up-to-date WooCommerce and Add-on Plugin WooCommerce Brands. (https://woocommerce.com/products/brands/) Client had an issue where shortcodes and default features behaved oddly from Brands and in addition, some custom code solution used in the past no longer works as expected. In testing the issue deactivating all plugins but WooCommerce and WooCommerce Brands and Yoast SEO (free version) issue was still present. When Yoast is deactivated the expected behavior works as intended.
Issue is largely visible when using this method to show Brand Descriptions on a single product page. https://remicorson.com/woocommerce-brands-display-brand-description-on-product-page/ With Yoast deactivated the brand description does show as intended. With Yoast active - nothing is populated on the page for Brand Description.
WooCommerce 6.4.1 WooCommerce Brands 1.6.29 Wordpress 5.9.3 Yoast Seo 18.6
Please describe what you expected to happen and why.
Using Woo Brand to display Brand description on the page with shortcode for single product... without Yoast the description shows using the method here - https://remicorson.com/woocommerce-brands-display-brand-description-on-product-page/ Brands is a custom category for WooCommerce with the space for description - and with the method above - the information can be displayed on the page.
How can we reproduce this behavior?
