As per message that filter is no longer used. Might you be using any plugins or custom code that customizes plugin's text analysis?
All I did was update the plug in and now this code has planted itself into my dashboard. Is there a way to fix this?
This is most likely something outside of the plugin trying to use deprecated filter. You would need to figure out what that is and contact its developers/support about updating to a new workflow.
do you have another yoast plugin installed and outdated? (maybe woocommerce SEO),just disable it.
He have the same issue in different websites
Conflict With Visual Composer 4.8.1
We just update several websites that are using Visual Composer and Yoast SEO vs 3.0.3. Look like is a conflict with several plugins :(
We just find the issue activating the define('WP_DEBUG', true);
Notice: wpseo_pre_analysis_post_content filter/action is deprecated since version WPSEO 3.0! Use javascript instead.
We see some issues in Revolution Slider to. We can not update information in that plugin. we had Roll back to the old version.
we appreciated for further information.
@arkive Visual Composer is a known compatibility issue at the moment, see #3379 for relevant issue.
Note that the guy creating this thread first noticed the problem after updating the Yoast plugin.
SUBWAY (by Qode & available from ThemeForest) is an example of many themes that include Visual Composer but with an old license that does not allow for updates. That means there won't be an update coming, so how are all of these folks to resolve the issue if a future fix to Visual Composer comes out? It seems premature to point blame on Visual Composer rather than SEO by Yoast.
I 've the same issue by installing newest Yoast SEO & qTranslate-X (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-seo-qtranslate-x/) . when this plugin disabled, the error gone
@mHealthTalk This is not a matter of blame or who breaks what. It is just a matter of deprecated functionality that is now gone and replaced with new client-side analysis engine. It is unfortunate if you cannot update your theme/libraries, but that is between you and theme's developer.
@javasworks as above this isn't an "error" pretty much, but other plugins/libraries will need to update if they want to provide integration with newer plugin versions.
I received this error code after I updated the Yoast Plugin, I am not sure what to do with this coding any help would be appreciated:
